Custom Enchantments
What Are Custom Enchantments?
Custom enchantments are unique, plugin-added enchantments that go beyond Minecraft's vanilla enchantment system. These special enchantments provide powerful effects and abilities you can't get in normal Minecraft gameplay.
Key Features of Custom Enchantments
Unique Effects
Special abilities like teleportation, life steal, area-of-effect damage
Visual effects (particles, glowing items)
Game-changing mechanics (flying, auto-smelting)
Tiered Rarity System
Common → Uncommon → Rare → Epic → Legendary → Mythic
Higher rarity = stronger effects but harder to obtain
Customization Options
Admins can adjust power levels, drop rates, and compatibility
Some enchantments require special resources (like Souls) to activate

Wandering traders sometimes offer rare books

Managing Custom Enchantments
Special Considerations
Enchantment Conflicts: Some enchants can't coexist (e.g., Sharpness + Smite)
Durability Impact: Powerful enchants may degrade items faster
Balance Tradeoffs: Strong effects often come with drawbacks (slower speed, higher costs)
Upgrading Enchantments
Use the Tinker system to combine/upgrade enchants
Some enchants can be leveled up using special resources
