Souls or Soul gems

In Custom Enchantments, Souls are a special in-game currency or resource used to power certain enchantments, upgrade items, and unlock powerful abilities. Here’s everything you need to know about Souls in the plugin:

What Are Souls?

  • Souls are collected from mobs, players, or special events.

  • They act as a fuel system for certain enchantments (e.g., Soul Reaper, Soulbound).

  • Some enchantments require Souls to activate or scale in power based on stored Souls.

How to Obtain Souls

  1. Killing Mobs/Players

    • Some enchantments (Soul Reaper, Soul Stealer) grant Souls on kill.

    • Higher-level mobs (bosses, elites) drop more Souls.

  2. Soul Collector Items

    • Special tools/weapons can store Souls passively.

  3. Events & Abilities

    • Some abilities (like Soul Siphon) steal Souls from enemies.

    • Certain game modes or admin commands can grant Souls.

How to Use Souls

  1. Power Enchantments

    • Some enchants (e.g., Soul Reaper) scale damage based on stored Souls.

  2. Item Protection

    • Soulbound prevents item loss but consumes Souls on death.

  3. Trading/Upgrades

    • Some servers let players trade Souls for powerful gear or upgrades.

Managing Souls

  • Souls are stored in weapons/tools (not the player).

  • Souls may decay over time if unused (configurable by admins).

Why Souls Matter

  • They balance powerful enchantments (risk vs. reward).

  • Add progression (collecting Souls to unlock stronger effects).

  • Encourage PvP/Specialized grinding for high-tier gear.
